5-min chocolate mug cake

It actually worked!
I don't own an oven. I'm someone who failed to make a cheese cake. But this 5-min chocolate cake (even though I used about 20 mins), it was satisfying!

The cake is basically about mixing the ingredients in a mug, and just leave it in the microwave. So it's really simple.

Wa-la! This is what we (I did this with my sis) got:
P6120027

Though its color is a bit... (not a bit but oh well) lighter than the original one in the recipe:
March_30_(Mon)_--_March_31_(Tues)_066

I think mine tasted good, just like the ones from the bakery!
I shared it with my dad and sis, they liked it, too!

If you are someone who doesn't have an oven, who doesn't know much about the kitchen (like me), THIS is something that's definitely worth a try.

Here's the recipe:
No foolin' 5-minute Chocolate Mug Cake

1 serving

1 large mug
4 Tbsp. flour
4 Tbsp. sugar
2 Tbsp. cocoa
1 large egg
3 Tbsp. milk
3 Tbsp. oil
1/4 cup chocolate chips (plus some extra for sprinkling on top when it comes out of the microwave)
a small splash of vanilla extract

1. Add dry ingredients to mug and mix well.

2. Add the egg and mix thoroughly.

3. Pour in the milk and oil and mix well.

4. Add the 1/4 cup of chocolate chips and vanilla extract, and mix again.

5. Put your mug in the microwave and cook for 3 minutes at 1000 watts (high). The cake will rise over the top of the mug, but don't be alarmed! Remove from microwave and sprinkle top of cake with chocolate chips.

6. Allow to cool a little, and then dig in!

Even though the recipe says you need 3 Tbsp. of oil, I used one and a half Tbsp. and it's alright.
